Birthplace Miami, Florida Started Dancing Age 4 Previous Companies Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Joined The Sarasota Ballet 1997, promoted to principal 2009 Favorite Roles The Stripper in Sir Kenneth MacMillan's Elite Syncopations, Clara/Sugar Plum in The Nutcracker, Milkmaid in Facade, Anne in Anne Frank, The Student in Flemming Flindt's The Lesson Career Highlights In my ten years with this company, it is hard to narrow down my highlights, but here are a few: Maris Petipa's Le Corsaire Pas de Trois, my first classical variation, pas de deux and coda; working with Hans Van Manen in Grosse Fuge; working with Alexander Grant for the Milkmaid in Facade; having a review and photo in The New York Times of Blue girl from Les Patineurs; It was my dream come true to dance the Sugar Plum Fairy role in front of my whole family, who had seen me dance Marie (Clara) when I was 10 years old; performing in Susan Stroman's Contact; choreographing Percolator on the company.
